Night brewing!

I visited Brian from Valiant Brewing and had more fun than I expected.  I also froze my back since it was 44 degrees and no fire under the pot for the last part.  I had a great time with Brian and learned a lot.

Yesterday I visited a friend and we brewed beer, actually he brewed it, I just took some photos and sampled a few beers he had previously made.  No photos could show the incredible beer I tasted.  Every single one of them was good.  You should have seen my face when I tasted every single one for the first time and on.  Unfortunately now it is hard to enjoy the store bought beer.  There was no room for inconsistencies for all was measured, annotated and the numbers were dead on with what he had done before.  What dedication for perfection.  Thanks Valiant Brewing.

Early morning fog

We were staying at our new friends home in Michigan.  The house was quiet.  My wife and daughter were not up yet.  I looked out the deck glass door and ran back to the bedroom to get my camera.

When I see this image I am reminded of how good it feels to just do what Matthew Kelly calls “Carefree timelessness”.

I finally had a chance to pose for a photo they took of His Excellency Allen Vigneroy, Archbishop of Detroit.  I documented the events of the 10th Anniversary of the arrival of Miles Christi to the United States.
